Project Manager in Purchasing for Thermal Management

Robert Bosch GmbH is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager in Purchasing for Thermal Management to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and innovative thinker to excel in a fast-paced environment. As a Project Manager in Purchasing for Thermal Management, you will be responsible for managing product lifecycle management, from market launch to ramp-down, and contributing to platform and related applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement cost optimization strategies and challenge engineering designs (D2C) to ensure efficient process management.
  • Perform international cost comparisons (ICC) and material cost analysis to drive strategic cost optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet global customer needs and manage supplier relationships.
  • Execute projects with agility, creativity, and strategic vision to drive business growth.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field with above-average results.
  • Experience and Knowledge: Background in project purchasing, supply chain management, engineering, product management, or cost modeling skills, with technical understanding and analytical skills.
  • Personality and Working Practice: Dedicated, innovative thinker who excels under pressure and thrives in a fast-paced environment, with excellent cross-cultural communication and negotiation skills.
  • Work Routine: Ability to work hybrid with a mix of office and remote work.
  • Enthusiasm: Passionate about efficient process management, strategic cost optimization, and setting up and maintaining a robust, global supply chain.
  • Languages: Very good in German and English, both written and spoken.
