Position Overview

The European Finance division at AccorCorpo is seeking a skilled Business Analyst (m/f/d) to enhance our analytical capabilities for Hotel Operations within the DACH region. This role entails close collaboration with the Operations Management Team, focusing on the comprehensive analysis of financial performance across our hotel portfolio, monitoring budgets, and ensuring the precision of forecasts. The position reports to the Finance Manager Operations for the DACH countries (Germany, Austria & Switzerland) and integrates within the broader European & North African region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with the Operational Management Team (VP Operations), General Managers, and Revenue Management professionals in the region.
  • Assist hotels and the VP Operations in the budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Oversee both annual budgeting initiatives and continuous financial activities throughout the fiscal year.
  • Ongoing Financial Activities:
  1. Regularly evaluate hotel performance and derive insights to facilitate informed decision-making.
  2. Produce monthly financial reports and supervise the accounting close process in hotels, ensuring data integrity and performance evaluation (revenues, costs, fees, etc.).
  3. Participate in routine business review meetings, comparing hotel P&L statements against previous periods, budgets, and forecasts, and ensuring the execution of budgetary and action plans as necessary.
  4. Contribute to monthly business reviews with detailed analyses of hotel performance metrics and KPIs, offering insights and recommendations to decision-makers.
  5. Generate regular reporting and develop tools to track performance outcomes.
  6. Monitor the hotels' rolling forecasts to maintain accuracy.
  • Annual Hotel Budgets:
  1. Support hotels and General Managers throughout the budgeting process.
  2. Collaboratively monitor budgets and assist Operations in achieving targets established with stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Financial Analysis or a related field, preferably within the hospitality sector.
  • A degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Exceptional financial and analytical capabilities.
  • A strong entrepreneurial and commercial perspective.
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel (including complex functions, pivot tables, INDEX/MATCH, LOOKUPs, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills and adept relationship management.
  • A collaborative team player.
  • Fluency in both German and English.
