The European Finance division at AccorCorpo is seeking a skilled Business Analyst (m/f/d) to support our analytical team focused on Hotel Operations within the DACH region. This role entails close collaboration with the Operations Management Team, where you will be tasked with the monthly evaluation of hotel financial performance, monitoring budget adherence, and ensuring forecast precision. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager Operations for the DACH countries (Germany, Austria & Switzerland), you will also be integrated into the broader Europe & North Africa region.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with the Operational Management Team (VP Operations), General Managers, and Revenue Management personnel across the region.
- Assist hotels and the VP Operations in the budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Oversee both annual budgeting cycles and continuous financial operations throughout the year.
- Ongoing Financial Operations:
- Regularly assess hotel performance and derive insights to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Produce monthly performance metrics and supervise the accounting close process at the hotels, which includes data gathering, accuracy verification, and performance evaluations (revenues, costs, fees, etc.).
- Participate in routine business review meetings, evaluating the hotels' Profit & Loss statements against previous years, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring the execution of budgetary and action plans as necessary.
- Contribute to monthly business reviews by analyzing hotel performance and KPIs, offering insights, analyses, and recommendations to decision-makers.
- Generate periodic reports and develop reporting tools to track performance outcomes.
- Monitor the hotels' rolling forecasts to maintain a high level of accuracy.
- Annual Hotel Budgets:
- Support hotels and General Managers in their budgeting activities.
- Collaboratively oversee budgets and assist Operations in achieving targets set with stakeholders.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Financial Analysis or a related field, preferably within the hospitality sector.
- A degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Exceptional financial and analytical capabilities.
- A strong entrepreneurial and commercial perspective.
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel (including complex functions, pivot tables, INDEX/MATCH, LOOKUPs, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage relationships effectively.
- A collaborative team player.
- Fluency in both German and English.
