The European Finance division at AccorCorpo is seeking a skilled Business Analyst (m/f/d) focused on Hotel Operations within the DACH region. This role involves close collaboration with the Operations Management Team and entails the monthly evaluation of hotel financial performance, oversight of hotel budgets, and assurance of forecast precision. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager Operations for the DACH countries (Germany, Austria & Switzerland), this position is integral to the broader Europe & North Africa region.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with the Operational Management Team (VP Operations), General Managers, and Revenue Management personnel across the region.
- Assist hotels and the VP Operations in the budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Facilitate both annual budgeting cycles and continuous financial operations throughout the year.
- Ongoing Financial Operations:
- Regularly assess hotel performance and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Compile monthly statistics and oversee the accounting closure in hotels, ensuring data integrity and performance evaluation (revenues, costs, fees, etc.).
- Participate in routine business review meetings, comparing hotel P&L against previous years, budgets, and forecasts, and ensuring the execution of budgetary and action plans as necessary.
- Contribute to monthly business reviews with analyses of hotel results and KPIs, delivering insights, analyses, and recommendations to decision-makers.
- Generate periodic reports and develop reporting tools to facilitate result tracking.
- Monitor the hotels' rolling forecasts to maintain accuracy.
- Annual Hotel Budgets:
- Support hotels and General Managers in their budgeting activities.
- Collaboratively monitor budgets and assist Operations in achieving targets set with stakeholders.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Financial Analysis or a related field, preferably within the hospitality sector.
- A degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Strong financial acumen and analytical capabilities.
- A solid entrepreneurial and commercial mindset.
- Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel (complex functions, pivot tables, INDEX/MATCH, LOOKUPs, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills and relationship management abilities.
- A collaborative team player.
- Fluency in both German and English.
