Your Mission

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to position AMS Technologies as a preferred partner for custom solutions in Photonics, Optoelectronics, Thermal Management, and Electronics. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying OEM customers who want to realize product ideas using technologies from these areas but lack the development know-how, resources, or production capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a target list of existing or new customers/contacts together with our European subsidiaries.
  • Create a Business Development Plan and associated activities.
  • Identify and review business opportunities.
  • Acquire new development and subcontracting projects together with Engineering and Operations in partnership with the Sales teams.
  • Develop a marketing plan to support business development and sharpen the AMS Technologies profile.
  • Implement marketing measures together with the Marketing team.
Your Profile

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. engineering, physics, or business administration).
  • 3+ years of experience in business development or sales into OEM accounts.
  • A passion for technical applications.
  • Desire to connect with customers and represent AMS Technologies at all levels.
  • Proven ability to identify and develop business opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in English and a second European language (written and spoken).
