Sales Engineer

Key Responsibilities & Duties (80%)

  • Identify and engage with target consultants, architects, main contractors, and installers to assess potential projects. Assist consultants and installers in the design phase utilizing Panasonic solutions.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by liaising with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress using Salesforce and maintain an updated project pipeline.
  • Provide training sessions for installers and consultants on relevant products and software.
  • Share market insights with product managers and contribute to strategic reviews and future product enhancements. Recommend actions to meet strategic objectives.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with planners, design firms, and installers to enhance project opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to oversee project installations from sale to commissioning, proactively addressing potential issues to optimize customer service outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of project status and pipeline in relevant systems.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Relevant university degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 to 5 years of pertinent experience in the field.
  • Experience in B2B business development is a plus.

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong understanding and expertise in operational processes, technologies, and products.
  • Effective application of recognized planning, analytical, and conceptual techniques.
  • Awareness of the implications of laws and regulations relevant to the industry.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to perform under pressure.

  • Ensure cost efficiency in all departmental contracts and purchases.

  • Participate in all company initiatives, including compliance with ISM, CSR, anti-corruption laws, and competition law.
  • Engage in benchmarking activities.
  • Handle general administrative tasks.
  • Execute projects within the scope of position skills.
  • Attend required training sessions.
  • Undertake business travel as necessary.
  • Commit to occupational safety and best practices.
  • Report any occupational safety violations promptly.
