About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Development Engineer to join our team at National Instruments Germany GmbH. As a Sales Development Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and expansion in the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pipeline Generation: Execute a strategy to balance time between inbound and outbound lead qualification activities to achieve pipeline generation targets.
  • Prospecting Activities: Define and execute prospecting activities with a strong focus on business impact, connecting National Instruments' value proposition to cold contacts.
  • Industry and Account Insight: Utilize industry and account insight to recommend prospecting activities in collaboration with Sales Account Managers, Business Development, and Marketing.
  • Coaching and Mentorship: Provide coaching and mentorship within the EMEA Sales Development team as a senior member.
  • Thought Leadership: Provide thought leadership and feedback lessons learned to the Global Sales & Marketing Team.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with leadership to shape the future of the global Sales Development team.
  • Customer Insights: Build specialized knowledge in our customers' applications, trends, and industries.
  • Business Impact Reporting: Report and forecast business impact.
About You:

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Engineering or MBA Background: A strong educational background in engineering or business administration.
  • Language Proficiency: Excellent German and English language proficiency.
  • Proactivity: Proactivity in pursuing any sales opportunities.
  • Adaptability: Demonstrating adaptability and flexibility as part of an ever-growing sales organization.
