Overview of the Position
The Senior Product Marketing Manager plays a crucial role in steering the business strategy from a product perspective, collaborating closely with Global Marketing, Application Marketing, and Commercial Marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the product portfolio, managing the entire product life cycle.
- Develop and implement marketing plans, including product positioning, value propositions, and go-to-market strategies.
- Lead product launches and market introductions by creating and initiating content for marketing communications materials and activities.
- Ensure the execution of business plans for related product families and fulfill business case objectives.
- Advocate for the product portfolio, particularly focusing on newly launched products.
- Provide second-level support regarding product features, documentation, and customer inquiries related to products.
- Manage pricing strategies, including initial price setting and ongoing price maintenance.
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities and potential risks early on.
- Collaborate with Global Marketing Managers, Application Marketing Managers, and Commercial Marketing teams for new product development projects; contribute to regular Product to Market Alignment meetings.
Candidate Profile
- A Master's degree in engineering or physics, or a Bachelor's degree in a technical field combined with a Master's degree in business administration or economics.
- At least 7 years of professional experience in marketing and product management within the semiconductor industry.
- In-depth knowledge of power semiconductor customer applications.
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and German.
- Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to work.
- Highly motivated and a team player.
- Entrepreneurial mindset.
- Strong customer focus and service orientation.
- Cultural awareness and the ability to work effectively in international teams.
