In this role as Sales Director (M/F/d) for Sportsmed, Extremities and Trauma, Foot & Ankle business in DACH area you are responsible for achieving an economically positive development of the assigned region within the agreed sales and cost budget. Leading, coaching, managing and motivating the assigned employees in order to achieve the above-mentioned goal in the individual divisions. This position is key to secure sustainable growth for ZB.
**What Will Make You Successful**:
- Leadership, management and further development of the assigned organization, taking into account the company's goals
- Propose new ways of conducting business, including partnering with new key market players (day centers, International buying groups, hospital groups )
- Enrich/develop current product portfolio through partnership or acquisitions
- Gaining market shares in the SET area
- Development of strategic sales and marketing concepts
- Consolidation and expansion of existing relationships with key customers
- Strategic customer development in the individual segments of the organization
- Conducting contract and price negotiations with major customers and purchasing groups
- Budget planning and fair distribution of the budget
- Targeted, cooperative leadership; Further development, coaching and mentoring of own employees
- The DACH region being so important in future development plans, it is expected that key insights will be sought on a constant basis from both Global and EMEA leadership
**Your profile**:
- Completed business administration/economics studies or many years of sales experience with well-founded business management knowledge
- Several years of management and leadership experience and proven successes in medical technology
- Sound knowledge of the SET market and the SET product portfolio (ZB and competition)
- Existing network of relationships with opinion leaders and key decision-makers in the areas of trauma, foot & ankle, orthopedics and purchasing groups
- Attracting competitive sales reps in the shortest time period
- Knowledge of surgical procedures, sales processes and marketing strategies
- High sense of responsibility as well as very high commitment and flexibility
- Strong leadership and coaching skills
- Distinct customer orientation and excellent negotiation skills
- Very good knowledge of spoken and written English
