**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- You are responsible and accountable for the costs of the infrastructure ( > 1 million / year)
- You will work with your team to create a fail-safe environment, which provides the same performance and reliability 24x7
- You lead engineers in an agile team who create concepts for improving our infrastructure and bring them to life
- With technical experts and architects, you build a roadmap in compliance with company standards
- You drive timely and predictable delivery of projects and initiatives within your team
- You ensure the reliability and quality of the team's systems
- You guarantee incidents are being responded to and the team learns from them to continuously improve
- You bring company strategies and business needs into engineering to ensure outcome-focused work is done

**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**:

- You have 7+ years of track record in infrastructure engineering
- You have expertise for cloud-based infrastructure, preferably AWS
- Experience with LAMP Stack would be nice to have
- You bring a strong ability to lead, inspire, engage and coach a team
- With your excellent communication skills and empathy, you ensure your projects are well managed and you have a good relationship with your stakeholders
- You have experience in SaaS in a B2B context and understand the e-commerce business with its technology landscape
- Must be willing to be on-site with the team at least one day per month in Germany
- You are fluent in written and spoken English
