Engineering Drafting Specialist for Facilities and Infrastructure

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Drafting Specialist to join our team in Ansbach, Germany.
About the JobThe selected candidate will be responsible for conducting investigations to determine the quality, accuracy, and conditions of construction modifications and major modernization projects. They will update project drawings libraries/database and prepare annual updates to electronic installation base information maps and building floor plans from as-built drawings of projects executed by various DPW divisions and other outside agencies. The successful candidate will assemble required data, drawings, and details to ensure accurate depiction of existing conditions, coordinate drawings, details, and data to ensure integration and accuracy before updating the library/database, and provide CAD as-built drawings of buildings and infrastructure to DPW personnel, the Corps of Engineers, Architectural-Engineering firms, design and construction contractors, and privatized utilities companies and Bauamt.

RequirementsTo be eligible for this role, you must have completed educational programs in Engineering Drafting and further education/certification as "CAD Fachkraft." Additionally, you should have at least 2 years of experience in Engineering Drafting or relevant experience. For internal applicants, employees with 1 year of experience with the US Forces at the C-5a grade level in Engineering Drafting and meeting the Basic education requirement are qualified for C-6 grade. You must also possess a German driver's license class B and have knowledge in using office automation software.
