Overview
Our established Client Coverage Team actively covers Germany based pension funds, banks, family offices, asset managers, insurance companies and corporations with a dynamic and solution-driven approach. This broad client base has different needs and requirements with regards to strategies they invest in and day-to-day client servicing. The German team can market the entire Neuberger Berman product suite, with strategies across Equities, Fixed Income and Alternatives. This includes a UCITS fund umbrella, several traditional and alternative commingled vehicles, and managed accounts.
Scope of role
We are seeking for a Client Associate to provide support to the Client Coverage team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing, international firm and a successful, experienced established team that provides a wide range of support as they continue to develop the German business.
**Responsibilities**:
- Support the Senior Client Coverage team in their day-to-day client activity and strategic initiatives
- Work closely and collaborate with colleagues in Portfolio Management, Client Service, Marketing and Compliance to help develop the local client’s activity
- Organize prospective client related activity, including but not limited to client presentations and request for proposals. Ensure all activity follows the regulatory framework.
- Provide essential administrative support to the Client Coverage team including data base management, maintaining the CRM system, producing pipeline activity and call reports, and assisting with Client and Product mapping to help enhance the overall sales processes.
- Conduct market research, assist the team on appropriate business strategies, client analysis and help organize client events/marketing efforts.
- Take care of office and administrative related duties.
Qualifications/Skills:
- University/FH-Graduate or equivalent
- A self-starter, that works in a precise and timely manner, who can take ownership to move initiatives forward
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Languages: German, fluent in English
