Head of Sales

**Your challenge**:
As **Head of Sales at circulee**, you report to circulee’s CEO and will play an integral role in shaping circulee’s growth and capturing its potential. You own the strategic direction of our Inside Sales Team and its performance. You are responsible for managing our Inside Sales activities end-to-end, focusing on target achievement in customer acquisition and retention, while increasing productivity and efficiency through data and systems, which you test and implement along the sales process. As part of your leadership role, you will translate strategic objectives into key performance indicators (KPIs) and individual targets. While you shape and own circulee’s sales strategy, you will also remain closely involved („hands-on”) in major deals and key accounts, leading by example in client acquisition and retention. You will coach, mentor and develop sales managers, optimizing team performance through data and automation, and act as a crucial link between sales and other departments to ensure smooth execution of deals.
**Your tasks**:
- Define and implement sales strategies, which are rooted in data and underpinned by KPIs (group and individual) to drive company growth.
- Lead, develop, and expand the Inside Sales Team, currently composed of three sales managers, to enable effective execution of the sales strategy
- Own our CRM (Hubspot) as sales & insights tool and continuously drive the automation of processes and workflows to increase sales efficiency and effectiveness, leveraging tools and tech along the sales cycle.
- Monitor key customer activity to ensure successful closing of major deals and grow high-potential accounts (“strategic account management”).
- Collaborate closely with other departments / functions, especially Marketing (e.g., for lead-gen), Product, and Operations, to align sales needs and activities with company goals.
- Develop and refine customer outreach approaches while leading the training and development of the sales managers.
- Strategically plan and manage sales goals, forecasts, and budgets.
- Provide regular performance reporting and insights to C-Level, along with actionable insights and recommendations.
- Consolidate customer feedback and work with Marketing and Product to enhance offerings.
**Requirements**:
- You are fluent in both German and English.
- You have at least 5 years of B2B sales leadership experience (ideally from B2B ecommerce), with a proven track-record in a leadership role (you know how to successfully manage and develop sales teams).
- You are experienced in setting KPIs and driving strategic sales initiatives.
- Technology and data are at the heart of your “operating model” - you have deep understanding in leveraging CRM Solutions (experience with Hubspot is a clear advantage) and you continuously seek productivity and efficiency gains through automation and data insights
- You bring significant experience in B2B customers acquisition (inbound and outbound) and account management, which allows you to be an effective leader and coach.
- You are passionate about sustainability and believe in the power of sustainable technology to shape a better future.
- You possess excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- You are data-driven, with strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills, making it easy to manage reporting, forecasting, and cost control.
- You have demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
- You are based in Berlin, as this role will require frequent on-site presence.
