**The role**
As part of the Global Marketing Leadership (GML) team, you will be the connection between our Head of Global Content and the European Content team. You will input with your market knowledge into global strategy, leading the local development, execution, distribution and optimization of the content for the EU markets.
You will develop a local, multi-market content plan based on the global content strategy and manage a team of content producers and content marketing managers, along with external content producers and storytellers.
You will work together with the Head of Global Content and the VP of Marketing to provide frameworks, processes and governance for the European Content team
**What you'll be doing**
- Develop local content strategy based on global strategy, maintaining rigorous planning and production processes to ensure quality content out on time and on budget
- Oversee and manage the local content management and production team in delivering timely and locally relevant content and campaigns
- Work with internal and external teams on concept development and localization to support key campaigns and partnerships
- Deliver against content performance objectives for the EU market
- Ensure high quality of local copy across all content and translations
- Work with the analytics team to understand our customers and define audiences to deliver targeted, insights-driven plan
- Work with the Senior SEO Manager to ensure well optimised content
- Work collaboratively with content marketers across the global team
- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders to build an effective environment for the delivery of content that is on strategy and brand compliant, regardless of whether produced by the central content team, local content teams or external content creators
**What you'll need**
- 5 years+ experience in managing a diverse team in Content Marketing
- Ability to plan local digital content across a number of channels and markets
- Knowledge in SEO best practices to ensure content is optimised
- Experience in creating visual content - videos and stills - from brief through to delivery.
- Understanding of editorial content creation and good feeling for language and experience crafting messaging for different channels and objectives
- Language skills in European languages other than English (DE, FR NL are preferred)
- In-depth knowledge of photography and videography kit and creatives’ motivations, behaviours and interests a plus
- Knowledge about relevant KPIs to measure success and how to use those to inform future decisions
