We are one of the fastest-growing podcast and audiobook platforms in Europe and we are now looking for a **Head of Marketing** for our German team.

**This is the role**:
As the Head of Marketing, you will be part of the German team located in Berlin, and you will have a strong collaboration with your counterparts in our other markets. Together with your team - and in collaboration with our global team - your task is to drive activation initiatives and build a strong brand that consists of Content Driven Growth, Creator Driven Growth and User Driven Growth. As the Head of Marketing, your primary focus will be on creating and steering 360° campaigns to stimulate the full funnel user growth - aligned with local content activation and creator growth.
**Your main responsibilities in this role**:
- Responsible for the monthly intake targets and the activation budget in Germany together with the Country Manager
- Responsible for all Content Driven Growth, Creator Driven Growth and User Driven Growth initiatives in Germany - from idea to success
- Work closely with the DE content team to unfold and promote local content releases
- Build out marketing plans per quarter/half year that are aligned with local and global OKRs
- Define marketing strategy per show together with local show owners & activation managers and align with global performance marketing team
- Define prioritization of shows locally and align with execution globally
- Collaborate with the Global Growth team on Test & Learn projects to optimize performance & user experience (funnel)
- Manage and prioritise the local marketing team's tasks and are responsible for individual coaching

**Experience we’re looking for**:
- An experienced marketing manager with +5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably from an in-house position. Agency experience is a plus.
- +3 years of people management experience. You will manage and prioritize the marketing team's tasks and are responsible for individual coaching
- Hands-on experience in social media marketing, creator promotion, influencer marketing, CRM or digital marketing and data-driven brand building
- A strong understanding of data is required for doing the proper analysis and test & learn optimisation
- Experience with content marketing is a plus
- Fluency in both English and German both written and spoken
Naturally, being passionate and knowledgeable about podcasts, audio content, media, and entertainment is a big plus
