We are looking for a well organized Marketing Director, responsible for overseeing the marketing strategy and execution across three key teams: Awareness Generation, Lead Generation, and Localization. Your role will be crucial in driving our reach and impact on a global scale.
**Responsibilities**:
- Be responsible for achieving our Marketing OKRs of increasing the global awareness of the Nextcloud brand and increasing the number of qualified sales leads
- Leading the Awareness Generation Team: Develop and implement innovative marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement across diverse markets
- Steering Lead Generation: develop and execute a strategic plan on generating and qualifying leads, enhancing our lead conversion processes and collaborating with sales to optimize the funnel
- Guiding the Localization Team in adapting our marketing messages to fit local needs of customers, local cultures and languages
- Collaborate across-functions (i.e. with marketing, engineering, PR) to obtain understanding of our technically complex product and the processes around it
**Requirements**:
- Degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field
- Proven experience as a Marketing Director or similar leadership role, with a focus on managing diverse teams and large-scale marketing projects
- Strong background in digital marketing, lead generation, and market analysis
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and guide strategic decisions
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, stakeholders, top management and external partners
- Language Proficiency in German and English, other languages beneficial
