**Your role**
- Are you good at managing risk? Do you know how to maintain independence and objectivity? We are looking for someone like that who can:
- further enhance and improve the EMEA AML Transaction Monitoring (TM) program, enhancing the AML framework and related processes and controls; develop and execute a strategic TM approach for EMEA including standardization where possible and implementation of industry best practices
- act as interface to the model validation team and model owner for EMEA
- maintain existing TM systems incl. appropriate governance and review of functionality and effectivity
- execute alert optimization, calibrate and tune TM rules and thresholds
- perform second-line-of-defense activities in relation to consequential risks
- ensure risk frameworks are designed well and operating effectively
- contribute to independent risk assessments and reports that shed light on our risk profile
- manage EMEA related change projects including the change team
- manage your team in line with UBS HR standards

**Your expertise**
- transaction monitoring system experience is a prerequisite on one or more of the following systems: Mantas, Actimize or Fortent, SIRON AML
- MS Office expertise especially in Excel and MS Access
- a passion for understanding and working with a large amount of data
- a deep understanding of financial markets and transactions relevant to financial crime prevention efforts applicable to various banking activities with a focus on Wealth Management, Correspondent Banking and Investment Banking
- analytical and inquisitive, with the ability to provide practical solutions for minimizing risk while enabling business goals
- results-oriented and collaborative (you put the team’s interest first)
- proactive and a problem solver
- fluent in English and German
- a flexible, resilient team player with a positive attitude
- ready to enjoy working in an international environment and with teams based in multiple locations
