**JOB DESCRIPTION**
As Business Resiliency Associate, you will work with ICB and Firmwide Resiliency to build up a market leading business resiliency function. This will include building strong relationships to relevant stakeholders, writing plans and playbooks to ensure we know how to respond to threats and incidents which may affect our operation, contributing to the resolution of major incidents as they occur, and taking all the learnings from incidents to develop better resiliency for the business.

In this exciting chapter of continued growth and expansion for Chase, we’re looking for a passionate Business Resiliency Associate who will work with ICB and Firmwide Resiliency to build up a market leading business resiliency function.

This will include building strong relationships to relevant stakeholders, writing plans and playbooks to ensure we know how to respond to threats and incidents which may affect our operation, contributing to the resolution of major incidents as they occur, and taking all the learnings from incidents to develop better resiliency for the business.

**Job responsibilities**:

- You will deliver market leading resiliency plans and playbooks to ensure we know how to respond to threats and incidents which may affect our operation, you will be responsible for assessing business impact (example tech, non tech or any other business-related incidents.
- You will ensure compliance for business resiliency testing and exercising for relevant resiliency plan.
- You will ensure all business continuity documentation is reviewed, maintained, updated and tested/exercised on a regular basis by partnering with resiliency plan owners.
- You will represent the business during major incidents and on incident calls.
- You will contribute to Post-Incident Documentation, including root cause analysis and after action reporting.
- You will build effective relationships with Operation Managers and the business to maintain understanding of the impact of incidents affecting the key service lines and providing on-going updates to Senior Management on the progress to resolution.
- You will work with compliance, risk and firmwide resiliency to ensure our plans are fit for purpose and meet the requirements of the firm and the German regulations.

**Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
- Experience in financial sector or in consulting with a focus on business resiliency, business continuity, it service continuity or a closely related field.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members.
- Proven ability to lead with influence, work methodically and calmly under pressure, facilitating and collaborating with colleagues to deliver the right outcomes for our business and customers.
- Strong problem solving, analytical, and time management skills.
- Good command of English and German.

**Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills**
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements around business continuity/resiliency in financial institutions (Germany and EU).
- Experience with managing and driving third parties to the quick resolution of incidents.
- Business analytical skills around reporting & governance.
