The Role

We are seeking a talented Business Development Associate to join our team at Prophet. As a Business Development Associate, you will have the opportunity to work with our clients and colleagues to gain a deep understanding of their businesses and customer bases.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Gain a deep understanding of our client's business and customer base, understanding how our clients grow and what market conditions may impact that growth and transformation.
  • Collaborate on multidisciplinary teams to help answer key strategic customer, growth, and transformation questions, through brand, marketing, and digital strategies, for Fortune 500 companies.
  • Help conduct primary and secondary research and analyze data; engage in creative problem-solving sessions to formulate hypotheses.
  • Share your point of view and present insightful and actionable recommendations to internal senior leaders and our clients.

What We Look For

  • Recently graduated or, if interested in a summer placement, in penultimate or final year of studies
  • Relevant, approved work authorization for the office the role is based in
  • Well-developed critical thinking capabilities, problem solving skills, and creative thinking
  • Superior communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Knowledge of, and passion for, brand, digital, and marketing strategy; and, how they impact business outcomes
  • A curious mind with an unrelenting commitment to get to the answer, to test new approaches, learn new skills, and push others' assumptions
  • Confusion tolerance: comfort with ambiguity and the ability to adapt, flex, and change directions given client, project, and team circumstances, understanding the ever-changing business world
  • Proficiency in German and English is essential
