Over the last ten years our client has grown to become a market leader within their field covering both public and private sector.

This would see you joining the team as a senior individual contributor focused on the DACH public sector based out of Munich where their office is located.

Are you a dynamic and experienced sales professional with a passion for driving growth and closing deals in the cutting-edge field of data virtualization? We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Individual Contributor Sales Director to join our team in Munich, focusing on the public sector. If you have a successful track record of hunting new business and excel at building lasting relationships with clients, while also possessing a strong understanding of data virtualization technology, we want to hear from you

**Responsibilities**:

- Take ownership of the sales cycle within the public sector, from prospecting to closing deals, and beyond.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, targeting key accounts and strategic clients for our data virtualization solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders in the public sector, showcasing the value and benefits of our technology.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute effective sales strategies tailored to the unique needs of public sector clients.
- Understand client needs and requirements, and propose suitable data virtualization solutions to address their challenges effectively.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes for all parties involved.
- Stay updated with industry trends, market developments, and competitors' activities to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets, contributing significantly to the overall growth and success of our data virtualization business.

**Requirements**:

- Proven track record of successful sales experience in the public sector, with a strong understanding of data virtualization technology.
- In-depth knowledge of the public sector landscape, including key players, procurement processes, and regulations.
- Strong networking skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients at all levels.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
- Fluency in English and German is required.
