Associate Director – Head Regional Sales (m/f/x) | South Germany | Pulmonology / Rare Disease
The holder of this position will work closely with the National Sales Director Germany to support and drive sales and commercial activities for the assigned region. This role will share responsibility for commercial performance by developing and coaching the commercial field force. The Head Regional Sales works closely with the other Head Regional Sales, Marketing Lead DACH and responsible EMEA functions (e.g.: Learning&Development EMEA, Commercial Effectiveness EMEA).
What will your tasks as “Associate Director – Head Regional Sales (m/f/x)” be?
- Holds Sales Responsibility within the respective sales territory(South Germany)
- Leads and executes a sales plan with specific goals and targets to maximize sales growth
- Works closely together with and reports to National Sales Director, Germany
- Operation Excellence - Ability to monitor team performance and implement behavioral strategies to optimize efficiency and effectiveness including monitoring budget for regional activities
- Fosters an entrepreneurial culture with a focus on ownership and accountability to maximize individual and Company goals, and establishes open and honest communication with team, peers, and leadership team
- Supports and executes projects in and beyond its region at a national level together with the Marketing Lead DACH
- Builds/recruits a high performance sales team that follows company values
- Coordinate closely with Learning&Development, Sales Director, and Marketing Lead to organize and execute training sessions and commercial meetings for the sales force
- Build and strengthen strong relationships with key opinion leaders to support business goals
Your requirements as a “Associate Director – Head Regional Sales (m/f/x)”?
- Front-line sales leadership required: minimum of 3 years successfully leading sales teams in pharmaceutical industry with a proven record of success in exceeding goals
- Experience building high performing teams, with a focus on culture, compliance and launch excellence
- Successful product launch experience as a front-line sale leader
- Experience in building out (recruit and hire) top performing KAMs
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- High analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude
- Pulmonary experience and strong business relationships in the Pulmonary Disease community preferred
- Solid customer service attitude
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Solid English communication skills
Important information:
- This position reports directly to the National Sales Director Germany
- This is a supervisor position of commercial field force (approx. 10 Key Account Managers)
- Territory: South Germany
- Ability to travel approximately 70% of the time
- The position will be a Field Sales position
- Anticipated start date: 01.11.2024
