**Your Tasks**:
- Business responsibility for a distributed customer engagement team (Project managers and Field Application Engineers) to manage complex, safety critical automotive projects (e. g. Autonomous Driving ECUs)
- Maintain and develop the team to manage customer programs and local support for German OEM customer
- Establish a good customer relationship, act as first management escalation instance for customer programs and enable future growth of the business
- Overall technical and commercial project management including milestone planning, staff planning, risk and claim management
- Achieving clear and measurable project objectives within budget and time
- Setting up clear and effective project steering and reporting structures with all stakeholders (internal & external)
- Managing technical discussions and strategic decision-making
- Resolving challenges and issues, and supporting the teams throughout the project lifecycle
**Your Profile**:
- Experience in managing diverse and geographically distributed teams
- At least 3 years of management experience in a customer facing role
- Proven experience in management of large-scale automotive software development programs - ideally for German OEMs
- Fundamental automotive industry knowledge
- Strong business development and leadership skills
- Profound understanding of software development life cycle (incl. architectures, processes, etc.)
- Knowledge in automotive quality and safety standards (ASPICE, ISO 26262)
- Proactive personality with excellent communication skills
- High customer orientation on an executive level
- Excellent command English, German is an advantage
