Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Your role involves establishing partnerships with stakeholders, including Supply Chain, IT, Global demand planning, and market teams, to streamline processes and systems, explore new functionalities, and define best practices. Additionally, you collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance availability across all channels.- Achieving success in this role relies heavily on the smooth acceptance and execution of demand planning processes and systems, which directly influence demand and supply performance. Key performance indicators (KPIs) beyond financial metrics include ensuring the timely delivery of all projects, including strategies, tools, and processes.- Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the implementation and execution of demand planning process and systems.
- Collaborate with business leaders and market process owners to jointly create, design, maintain, and enhance operational demand planning processes.
- Generate and review documentation, actively participate in process and system implementation, and conduct training sessions while developing training materials.
- Assess operational needs and recommend solutions for process improvements.
- Facilitate fact-based decision-making by providing clear recommendations and implications.
- Lead, coordinate, and refine the product vision, roadmap, and user stories with a focus on delivering value to both consumers and the company within the adidas digital ecosystem.
- Product and process Management:
- Design, optimize, and analyse processes to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with adidas goals and industry standards. Identify areas for improvement within existing processes and implement changes to enhance performance.
- Continuous Improvement and Business Analysis:
- Refine research ideas and employ standard methods for data collection and analysis, be able to prove your hypothesis with quantitative and qualitative data
- Investigate operational requirements, issues, and opportunities, identifying viable options.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback, soliciting process enhancement suggestions, and driving optimization initiatives.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to incorporate into process management efforts.
- Process and system implementation
- Define and manage requirements for initiatives of medium size and complexity, establish requirements baselines, and manage changes.
- Document and carry out small to medium projects, managing risks and resources, and agree on project approach with stakeholders, tracking activities against the project schedule.
- Utilize portfolio, program, and project control solutions, provide administrative services and guidance on project management, and monitor and evaluate team workload and efficiency, making changes as needed.
- Create test cases, scripts, and materials, and provide reports on progress and system quality.
- Adopt a standardized project management approach and implement an effective communication methodology, leading and executing cross-functional projects aimed at implementing changes and ensuring their long-term sustainability. Utilize data sources and feedback loops to ensure the team focuses on relevant enhancements.
- Act as demand planning product owner, prioritizing product requirements and owning a product backlog.
- Individual Key Responsibilities:
- Define and document Global & Market Demand Planning Processes & Systems collaboratively.
- Ensure alignment between Global Processes and Market Demand Planning.
- Maintain knowledge of process pain points through stakeholder communication.
- Monitor adherence to defined processes and evaluate performance.
- Contribute to the implementation of SAP IBP system and process in the markets.

- Market Demand Planning & Finance
- Integrated Planning Department
- Respective business function (GOPS, Finance, HR, Brand Marketing, Wholesale/Retail)
- Required Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience in wholesale, retail, or ecommerce planning processes.
- Four-year college degree or university diploma with a focus on business administration, IT, or related fields, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in demand planning process in APO and familiar with SAP IBP
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in team management.
- Strong knowledge of demand planning tools, MS Office skills, and basic SAP MM and SD modules.
- Understanding of different cultures.
- Proficient spoken and written English.
