We are now looking for an ambitious **Director, SaaS Partnerships**, to join our team in Berlin or remotely (CET).
In this new role, you will be responsible for driving strategy and partnerships with large B2B SaaS vendors from a global perspective, including but not limited to SaaS providers in Supply Chain Planning & Execution, ERP, TMS & Logistics, IoT, and others.
You will initiate, run and execute complex partnerships to unlock new revenue opportunities for Climatiq. This will involve liaising with product managers, sales and marketing executives, and C-level at partner organizations. Internally, you will work closely with our science and product teams, supporting them with customer data and insights to help shape our product and sales strategies.
You are a strategic thinker with a hunter mindset, comfortable with negotiating complex deals and understanding customer needs inside out. Your passion for technology will be crucial, as you’ll be working with a technical product designed for a tech-savvy audience.
You will join an international, experienced team of climate scientists, engineers, and entrepreneurs to build the next unicorn.
**Responsibilities**:
- Build, launch, and manage new initiatives to support partner outreach and engagement
- Negotiate complex partnerships that unlock significant revenue for Climatiq
- Proactively seek out and close new deals
- Develop deep knowledge of our products
- Manage and maintain a healthy pipeline
- Collaborate with product, marketing, engineering, and management to ensure alignment of product development according to customer needs
- Establish and foster long-lasting relationships with key customers
**Qualifications**:
- 5+ years of experience in partner programs or channel models at an enterprise software company
- 10 years of experience across SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS markets
- Proven track record of closing deals and driving revenue growth in an enterprise SaaS environment, selling technical products to tech-savvy buyers
- Demonstrated understanding of core business priorities and KPIs, with the ability to think creatively and with a solution-oriented mindset
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally (e.g. Product, Marketing, and Customer Success)
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, ability to use hard data to back up assumptions
- Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a high level of ambiguity
- Understanding of what it means to be working in an early-stage startup environment
- Knowledge of carbon accounting practices a big plus
