Are you up for the challenge? We're looking for a **Business Development Representative (f/m/d)** to join our team
As a Business Development Representative (f/m/d), your goal will be to identify and engage suitable companies which are the right fit for Apaleo. You will be conducting research and using prospecting tools to support the growth team to build target lists across mid-market and enterprise segments, leveraging our app partner network, consultants, and regional networks.
You serve as the bridge between the marketing and sales functions by managing inbound lead qualification and supporting outbound lead generation. When connecting with a prospect you will learn about their business challenges to determine whether Apaleo will serve as a solution. When you have identified a qualified prospect, your goal is to concisely communicate the value of Apaleo and gain interest in a deeper conversation with a Business Development Executive.
**What You'll Be Up To**:
- Clearly articulate and demonstrate Apaleo's value proposition, creating excitement and enthusiasm among prospects
- Qualify leads from website inquiries and marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
- Always on the lookout and carrying out market research to identify new potential business opportunities
- Work closely and collaboratively with the business development and marketing teams to develop and implement appropriate prospecting strategies, processes, and tactics
- Understand the prospects' needs and challenges using sales methodologies, i.e. BANT
- Report to the Director of Business Development on weekly activities and results
**Your Skills**:
- The desire and commitment to be in hospitality tech sales
- You have 6 months to 1 year of working experience in sales, preferably in a B2B role
- A "get it done now" attitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in fluent German and English
- Ready to communicate with teams, customers, and partners across different regions and different organizational levels
- Sales and prospecting experience is not required but is a plus
- Experience in working for hotels or serviced apartments is not required but is a plus
- A sharp focus on your goals and a robust approach to achieving them, open to being coached
- The ability to deal with and address objections
- You are interested in new technologies that bring innovation to the industry
