The company is a procure/fin-tech company that helps a trillion-dollar industry to overcome the shortage of materials and resources.

Founded in 2021 with headquarters in Berlin, the company operates with selected big industry brands that are served on its proprietary platform. Generating massive traction in the last two years, they are one of the fastest-growing B2B marketplaces in Europe.

They are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Business Development Executive. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, fostering strategic partnerships, and fueling the growth of their marketplace.

Aufgaben
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business development and operational growth, aligning with the company's overall objectives
- Identify and engage with potential suppliers and buyers, cultivating strong relationships to drive user acquisition and transaction volume on the platform
- Collaborate across teams, including sales and product development, to optimize platform performance, enhance user experience, and address operational challenges
- Actively monitor industry trends, market conditions, and buying activities in the industry to identify new business opportunities and potential areas for growth
- Analyze data and metrics to assess performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement
- Negotiate and establish strategic partnerships with suppliers, buyers, and other relevant stakeholders to expand the marketplace's reach and enhance its value proposition
- Stay up to date with regulatory requirements and ensure compliance within the marketplace
- Execute day-to-day operational activities and contribute to the overall success of the business's operations

Qualifikation
- Proficient in providing strategic guidance and insightful recommendations through at least two years of professional experience in the field of consulting
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and German with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Demonstrated passion for business development and driving growth in a startup or entrepreneurial environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Proactive mindset with a high level of initiative and a willingness to take ownership of projects and drive them to completion
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative work environment
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ideally, you have already experience in business development or a related role, preferably in a B2B start-up environment
