**Duties**:
Incumbent serves as the U.S. Consulate Frankfurt RDT bulk degausser and media disposition technician. He/She reports to the Branch Chief and Deputy Branch of RDT Operations. The technician will perform media disposition and provide disposition guidance for over 139 posts within EUR, NEA, SCA, and AF regional bureaus. The annual operating budget is approximately $2.5 million dollars.

EXPERIENCE: At least 1 (one) year of work experience in an office environment is required
JOB KNOWLEDGE: Basic knowledge of Microsoft office apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.).

Mandatory:
Successful completion of a secondary school is required.
- Evaluations:
LANGUAGE: Mandatory: English - Fluent; speaking/reading/writing, may include the ability to translate THIS WILL BE TESTED.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to lift up to 60 lbs., ability to use tools (screwdrivers, power tools to remove screws), ability to work with little supervision and independently in an area with mínimal interaction with other office staff.
