Due to continuing growth and development of Merlin’s attractions and brands on a global scale, we are looking for a **Regional Trade Sales Director Europe** to join our Strategy team. This role will be based at our Berlin Cluster Office office, with flexible/hybrid working available. It reports into the Global Trade Strategy Director on a permanent basis, with a salary on offer up to €110,000 per annum, based on skills and experience.

**About the Role...**

Are you a visionary leader with a knack for strategic thinking and revenue generation? We're seeking a dynamic individual to spearhead our regional trade sales strategy across the EMEA region. Your mission? To boost primary sales revenue through admissions tickets and resort hotels in our central trade accounts, all while championing innovation and efficiency.

This role involves crafting and implementing a ground-breaking regional trade sales strategy that aligns seamlessly with our global vision. You'll be responsible for leading a diverse team located across various geographies, motivating them to achieve revenue targets within specific B2B channels.

You will empower trade growth within the region through collaboration, where questioning the status quo will be a key aspect of your role. You'll drive excellence in performance, consistently delivering results that exceed budget expectations while optimising cost-effectiveness. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to innovate and explore new market avenues, guided by strategic KPIs and leveraging both existing and new offerings.

***About You...**
- You will demonstrate evidential experience in delivering sales growth to a multi £m/$m/€m budget, as well as;
- Proven experience of effective stakeholder management
- Critical skills lie in managing resources at a minimum of multi-site level but ideally within a matrix structure and within in a commercial sales capacity
- An in-depth understanding of trade/tourism distribution channels is preferable
- Commercial Sales & Marketing experience with a strong knowledge of inbound and outbound tourism
- A strong ability to communicate clearly and concisely with authority across a stakeholder structure in various formats.
- A good knowledge and ability to develop, and deliver presentations in PowerPoint format both face to face and via Teams
- A strategic understanding and evidential experience in budget management
- The proven ability to influence strategy and policy
- The proven ability to deliver effective change management based on strategy, policy or commercial requirements
- Educated to honours degree level or equivalent
- Have excellent command of the English language
