Theprimary function is to develop the business in the Fashion andFurniture markets in Northern & Eastern Europe, using variouscombinations of Lectra’s broad products and services: industrialequipment, value-added SaaS solutions, training, consulting andrecurrent maintenance contracts. You will manage a team, find waysto develop our market shares, establish the proper level ofrelationships at “C” level with the most famous fashion andfurniture brands and manufacturers in the region. Finally, you willbe expected to draw a solid sales action plan and ensure its rightexecution. This role reports to the President of the regionEMEA.

DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop aregional sales strategy to ensure the group strategy alignment, setsales priorities, allocate the resources and define the bestapproach for achieving the goals;
  • Optimize theallocation of accounts and territories to the sales team in a waythat maximizes sales opportunities and supports the overall salesstrategy;
  • Manage, motivate and engage a team ofexperienced Sales Experts; create a positive and supportive teamculture, recognize and reward individual and team achievements, andfoster open communication andcollaboration;
  • Provide guidance, coaching andsupport to the sales team to help them improve their skills andachieve their goals;
  • Monitor the activities ofthe sales team, both in terms of quality and quantity and theexecution of the strategy by tracking metrics and KPIs, providingfeedback and support and ensuring the activities are aligned withthe sales priorities;
  • Support the sales team todevelop and implement a commercial strategy for specificopportunities; identify and understand potential customer needs andchallenges, and develop a plan for effectively communicating thevalue proposition of our offers orservices;
  • Ensure an effective field salessupport to maximize the chances of success, by adjusting theresources, supporting the negotiation, and coordinating with otherdepartments to address any customer issues orconcerns.

PROFILE

  • Masteror Bachelor in Business, Management, Engineering,etc.;
  • Experience and network in the Fashion andFurniture industry will be appreciated;
  • Proventrack record in direct and consultative sales of high added valuesolutions, preferably in High Technology, Industrial Equipmentcombined with SaaS and Industrial Intelligence (IIOT, Industry4.0…);
  • At least 10 years of sales managementexperience and excellent coaching, communication and leadershipskills;
  • Ability to define and execute astrategy for the sales team that is aligned with the overallcompany strategy;
  • Capacity to allocate accountsand territories to optimize sales opportunities and supports theoverall sales strategy;
  • Results driven andstrong ability to monitor the sales activities (CRMSalesforce);
  • Great aptitude towork:
    • at a strategic level to identify andunderstand potential customer needs and challenges, and develop aplan for effectively communicating the value proposition of ouroffers or services;
    • as well as at a field levelto provide guidance, ensure joint execution in front of thecustomer, support the negotiation, and coordinate with otherdepartments;
  • Fluent inEnglish andGerman.

TRAVEL

  • Theposition is based in Germany, ideallyMunich.
  • There will be 50%+ of travel tocustomer sites in Northern and EasternEurope.
