VP, Sales, Europe North(f/m/d)

The Vice PresidentSales, Europe North is responsible for Benelux, Nordics,UK/Ireland and German speaking countries.

Youwill lead one of our 4 global regions. This is a mature territorywhich requires a skillful approach to develop future growth,expanding our footprint within large clients, identifying newpartnership opportunities as well as growing key accounts. Itrequires a mindset for balancing direct and indirect sales on acountry-by-country basis.

Your dailytasks:
  • Overallresponsibility for all sales in the region – both new logo as wellas grow/retain business
  • Drive sales excellencein day-to-day execution
  • Focus on reaching andexceeding targets through implementation of good salesbehavior
  • Manage quarterly, monthly and weeklyforecasting processes and rhythm of business
  • Evolve our strategic Go-To-Market plans for the region byclosely coordinating with Presales, Sales Operations, Marketing andStrategic Partnership groups
  • Manage a team ofexperienced country and territory leads, encompassing both partneras well as direct sales specialists
What you bring to thetable:
  • Multi-yearexperience in senior sales leadership roles with exposure to bothdirect and indirect sales routes to market
  • Deep knowledge of various licensing models – perpetual,subscription, maintenance
  • Ideally priorhands-on knowledge of transitioning organizations through businessmodel changes
  • Prior history of managing amulti-cultural and diverse sales region for a technologyvendor
  • Leadership by example, a willingness toengage with the teams and familiarizing yourselves with theirchallenges
  • Prior record of implementingcross-selling initiatives
  • Assertiveness and adesire to succeed
  • Contract negotiation skillswith an outcome oriented, business enabling mentality
  • Strong focus on establishing a performance-basedculture
  • Structured, independent way ofworking
  • Fluent English skills, additionallanguage competency from countries in the region are aplus
