Munich, Deutschland Amazon TA Vollzeit

EU ATS (Amazon Transportation Services) is a high-powered creative team which is shaping the transportation planning and execution within the Middle Mile operations network. This team develops and applies innovative transportation management concepts to improve and enhance the transportation network and bring the best customer experience through reliability and cost efficiencies.

The EU ATS Network Operations (NetOps) team is looking for a Network Flow Manager (NFM) to own and implement strategic, cross-functional management initiatives.

Key job responsibilities
As a Network Flow Manager, you will be executing intraweek capacity management for multiple Sort Centers in Europe. You will have to balance the available supply in the Middle Mile Node (MMN) Network with the E2E demand of our customers. You will work on highly ambiguous and complex problems to deliver actionable results and collaborate with other teams to maximize impact. The role is inherently cross-functional and the responsibilities include working across organizations and engaging with other teams and senior site leadership.

A day in the life
- Engage with site operations daily to asses the supply vs demand position
- Work with E2E teams to determine the network need
- Improve tech solutions by working with Program and Tech teams
- Take ownership of key metrics such as Attainment, Speed, TPH & DEA
- Drive centralization of intraweek labour and capacity management
- Develop new processes to enable a hands of the wheel capacity management process

About the team
The NFM team is divided into different regions (MEU, FRITES, UK) with a Regional NFM for every region.
Despite having seasoned amazonians in the team, the team in it's current form is still rather new.
We have taken over intraweek capacity management in 2023 and worked on centralization since then.
We are a team of 11 people spread across the different regions but are building up London as our central base.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree
- Past experience collaborating and effectively communicating (written & verbal) with senior management and different technology teams
- Data Analysis skills. Some level of expertise in SQL, proficient in Excel
- Experience in problem solving and data driven decision making
- Excellent stakeholder management

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred qualifications are not required to apply for a position at Amazon. If you have all the basic qualifications above, we’d love to hear from you.
- Master's degree
- Experience in Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen
- Ability to work successfully in a dynamic, ambiguous environment
- Strong understanding of complex dependencies
