Mission:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Head of Retail Germany to join our team


Reporting to the Retail Manager EMEA, you will manage our teams based in Germany.

Our Retail channel is very dynamic and growing quickly, and is central for the development of our company, with direct stores in Italy, UK, France and Germany and planned openings in other European countries. It's a great opportunity for an ambitious talent who wants to make a difference in the Retail world.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Support the Retail Manager in executing strategic operation plans;
  • Being in charge of the Country business development, focusing on the analysis of new openings and opportunities;
  • Being in charge of the Country P&L;
  • Manage the whole Country team, acting as a reference point for relevant staff-related topics;
  • Ensure Venchi/our Service Model standards of customer experience;
  • Drive trainings for the whole staff as motivator and guide;
  • Monitor boutiques KPIs and performances in order to reach company results;
  • Ensure the execution of visual merchandising is in line with company guidelines;
  • Optimize and monitor Stores calendars (shifts, orders, forecast and inventory management);
  • Ensuring that furniture is properly maintained;
  • Promote smart initiatives to improve practical solutions and fill possible gaps;
  • Manage the recruitment process in collaboration with Store Managers.



The Ideal candidate (requirements):


  • 6 years of Retail management;
  • 5 years of People Management at least;
  • A former international experience will be considered a plus;
  • Result oriented with ability to effectively multitask in a rapid work environment, by meeting all deadlines with a hands-on approach;
  • Strong relation, negotiation and organizational skills with constant attention to detail and performance;
  • Problem solving and decision-making mindset combined with ability to manage both independent and teamwork;
  • Ability to create and develop data-driven business strategies;
  • International mindset, fluent in German and English. Italian would be considered a plus;
  • Positive, flexible…and obviously a chocolate and gelato lover
