**We’re looking for a Head of Procurement to join our team in Munich, Germany**

The Head of Procurement for Germany is crucial for our success, guaranteeing year-round high-quality produce, optimising profitability, and driving growth. You'll lead a high-performing team, develop strategic sourcing, leverage data for best deals, manage supplier relationships, and collaborate on new product opportunities.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Lead strategic sourcing to secure a reliable, year-round supply of high-quality avocados and mangoes at optimal costs.
- Foster strong relationships with key suppliers, driving cost savings and optimising profitability through ethical and sustainable practices.
- Implement robust procurement protocols and best practices, ensuring compliance and adherence across the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify market trends, consumer preferences, and new product opportunities within the avocado and mango categories.
- Lead data-driven pricing analysis and develop strategies to secure competitive advantage.
- Oversee the development and implementation of a comprehensive grower profile system for informed sourcing decisions.
- Provide insightful data analysis and reports to support strategic decision-making at all levels of the organisation.
- Build, lead, and motivate a high-performing procurement team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
- Collaborate with European counterparts to ensure a strategic and aligned procurement approach across the region.

**Requirements**:
**Essential**
- Prior experience working within a leadership role, driving success.
- Strong background in Procurement of perishable products.
- Fluent in German, English and Spanish.
- Strong understanding of the complexities of global supply chains, including import/export regulations and logistics.
- Experience in utilising data analysis to inform strategic sourcing.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional.
- Proven track record of achieving cost savings and optimizing profitability through strategic procurement practices.

**Desirable**
- Knowledge and experience of fruit or vegetables.
- Knowledge of any other European languages.
- A relevant degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
