We are seeking an experiencedand motivated General Manager for ourvibrant 48-room Aparthotel located at CheckpointCharlie, Berlin. As the General Manager, you will beresponsible for the overall operation of the hotel and will play apivotal role in achieving our business goals. Developing andretaining a high-performing team, building connections to the localcommunity, and driving revenue through strategic initiatives willbe key to your success in thisrole.

What you can dofor us:
- Work alongsideyour HODs and wider team to offer our guests a considered,intelligent, and aesthetically pleasing experience, running allaspects of the property, including front office, housekeeping,maintenance, sales, and revenue.
- Ensure thatall departments operate within the brand SOPs, monitoring andtaking action on any feedback within a timelymanner.
- Regularly evaluate individual and teamperformance against their goals to drive a high-performanceculture. Offer constructive feedback through on-the-job training,performance appraisals, one-on-one discussions, and teammeetings.
- Produce forecasts for revenues andcosts, monitor that these are maintained within budgetaryconstraints, and communicate to the MD any shortcomings as soon aspossible.
- Ensure the hotel complies with alllegislation and Staycity Group requirements regarding H&S andany other statutory regulations.
- Enhance theteam's skills and knowledge by delivering department-specifictraining plans that align with our strategicgoals.
- Cultivate collaborative relationshipswith other departments, fostering effective communication andteamwork across the organization.
- Monitor andaction feedback received through guest satisfaction surveys, 3rdparty websites, and from guests both during and following theirstay, resolving any guest disputes and complaints in a professionalmanner and within guidelinesissued.
Required Skillsand Experience:
- Provenleadership experience and 3+ years in a similar general managementrole within a lifestyle/luxury hotel or aparthotel - this isessential for success in this role.
- Food andBeverage experience is preferred.
- Detailedknowledge and awareness of the local hotel market, ideally withworking proficiency in both German andEnglish.
- Humble and approachable, fostering apositive and inclusive workenvironment.
- Forward-thinking and innovative,always looking for opportunities to improveoperations.
- Self-motivated and able to inspireand lead the team effectively.
- Energetic,flexible, and adaptable to changingcircumstances.
- Ability to adapt effectively andmake decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency inengaging in strategic business discussions at a higherlevel.
- Demonstrated success in driving revenuesthrough the strategic management of commercialinitiatives.
- Demonstrable ability to motivate,appraise, support, and challenge the team to deliver world-classresults in every aspect of thebusiness.
- Experience in providing training,guidance, and support to all teams, actively participating inday-to-day department activities and driving the culture of theteam.
- A bachelor's degree in HospitalityManagement or a related field ispreferred.
