Your tasks:
- Independent handling of ocean freight import shipments
- Planning, booking and creation of transport orders as well as tracking and tracing of shipments
- Non-conformance reporting according to KPIs
- Cooperation with approved subcontractors according to agreed rates
- BDP customer support as well as coordination with our overseas houses/agents
- Registration and processing of complaints
- Compliance with deadlines
- Preparation of order settlements and processing of incoming invoices
- Optimizing workflows and monitoring results
- Ensuring ISO 9001, SQAS standard and data maintenance
Your profile:
- Commercial training, ideally as a freight forwarding and logistics services coordinator or equivalent
- Work experience in handling ocean freight import shipments
- Good knowledge of international customs regulations
- Knowledge of handling dangerous goods
- Confident use of MS Office applications
- Good written and spoken knowledge of German and English
