Crane Worldwide Logistics is seeking a highly skilled Ocean Export Coordinator to join our team. As an Ocean Export Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring ocean freight shipments, ensuring timely and efficient movement of cargo.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and monitor ocean freight shipments to ensure timely and efficient movement of cargo.
- Deal directly with clients, vendors, overseas stations, and agents to ensure the quickest and best movement of cargo.
- Seek the most profitable mode of shipment while meeting customer requirements.
- Control and disposition of transports for ocean freight shipments, according to customer requirements.
- Prepare documents necessary for export, import, and customs clearance processes.
- Track and trace cargo to ensure proper movement and delivery.
- Ensure accurate billing and cost information in TMF for invoicing and job costing.
- Collaborate with the team and supervisor, escalating difficulties or claims as necessary.
- Meet KPIs for minimum number of jobs handled per operator, including ocean import and export files.
- Ensure 100% compliance with operational KPIs, including DNI, LNR, ROTP, and other metrics.
- Participate in mandatory internal and external training, including Crane University courses.
- 3 years industry experience at a similar level.
- Finalized apprenticeship for forwarding and logistics or similar.
- Knowledge of dangerous goods handling, FCPA regulations, and international trade regulations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills.
