As an Import Logistics Coordinator specializing in Sea Freight at Kühne+Nagel, you will play a crucial role in managing our LCL import operations, ensuring efficient transportation and logistics processes. We are eager to welcome you to our team.
Your Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage LCL shipments and consolidated cargo in close collaboration with Customer Service colleagues. - Execute import customs clearance utilizing ATLAS and NCTS protocols. - Liaise with shipping companies to facilitate the release of consolidated cargo and confirm the status of import shipments. - Organize cargo acceptance procedures at designated receiving ports. - Conduct follow-up coordination and maintain documentation with transportation providers. - Ensure adherence to credit limit policies and maintain data integrity. - Analyze and optimize the handling of transport operations for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.Required Qualifications
- Completed vocational training in logistics or a related field, accompanied by relevant professional experience. - Hands-on experience in Sea Freight Import operations. - Preferably, familiarity with customs clearance processes or a willingness to learn with our guidance. - Proficient in German and possess a good command of English. - Skilled in MS Office applications, demonstrating assertiveness and resilience. - A collaborative team player with a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction.Employee Benefits
