For an international Food Ingredients Distributorlocated in Europe and Africa, we are looking for the

Country Manager / Geschäftsführer GermanyIngredients Distribution

  • You are in charge of a team of 15: Technical SalesManagers, Customer Service representatives, Accountants,etc.
  • You act as Country Manager/Team Leaderand Technical Sales Manager for a product group.
  • Products are value-added products from well-knownsuppliers.
  • Office-based and home officebased.

Must have forthis position:

  • Teamleading experience.
  • Master's Degree in FoodTechnology.
  • Ability to solve technologicalproblems and a passion for developing food products.
  • Deep knowledge of value-added foodingredients.
  • Fluent in German andEnglish.

Tasks
  • Develop commercial and product strategies forspecified ingredients.
  • Analyze the market andproduct range of our suppliers to find new potentials.
  • Create strong relationships with our suppliers andcustomers.
  • Visit customers, analyze theirneeds, create a value proposition.
  • Attendproduction trials at customers / make small-scale trials in theapplication kitchen.
  • Project management inclose cooperation with a dedicated Customer ServiceManager.
  • Align sales strategy for suppliers’product groups under the supervision of Product managers andCountry managers.
  • Responsible for makingmarket strategy, purchasing, and selling of assigned product groupsin Germany.
  • Building a close relationship withour suppliers and customers.
  • Discover andunderstand customer’s needs and develop tailor-madesolutions.
  • Conduct lab, small-scale, orindustrial trials with customers.
  • Follow upoffers, payments, etc.
  • Develop and executeSales Budget and forecasts.
Requirements
  • Degree inFood Technology Must have.
  • Ability to solve technological problems and passion forfood product development.
  • Exceptionally goodcommunication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • High willingness to travel.
  • Veryorganized, reliable, positive thinking.
  • Verygood knowledge of German and English (fluent in spoken and written)Must have.
  • Youhave a valid driving license Musthave.
