About the Company: We are a leading company in the plastic industry, specializing in the production of high-quality plastic components through injection molding. Our state-of-the-art facility ensures precision manufacturing for various industries, including automotive, electronics, and medical devices. To maintain our high standards of production, we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician (m/f/d) to ensure the optimal performance of our machinery and equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform regular inspections, servicing, and maintenance of injection molding machines, auxiliary equipment, and production tools to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operation.
  • Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on production equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Equipment Optimization: Analyze equipment performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and extend the lifespan of machinery.
  • Machine Setup: Assist with the setup and calibration of injection molding machines, ensuring all settings meet production requirements.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe working environment.
  • Spare Parts Management: Monitor and manage inventory of spare parts, ordering necessary components to avoid delays in repairs and maintenance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to address equipment-related issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Training and Development: Provide training to machine operators on basic maintenance tasks and equipment handling to reduce operational issues.

Requirements:

  • Completed technical training in mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in maintaining and repairing injection molding machines or similar industrial equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Familiarity with PLC systems and automation technology is an advantage.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
  • Willingness to work in shifts and respond to emergency maintenance calls when needed.
