Quality Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Manager to lead our quality assurance efforts, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive quality management system (QMS) in accordance with PED, ASME, and other relevant regulations and standards.
- Establish and maintain quality objectives, metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and monitor the effectiveness of the QMS.
- Lead and mentor a team of quality assurance professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess compliance with regulatory requirements and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Lead the implementation of advanced quality tools and methodologies, including PPAP, APQP, 8D, 5WHY, and FMEA, to drive continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, supply chain, and customer service, to address quality-related issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Manage customer quality concerns and complaints, serving as the primary point of contact for quality-related inquiries and ensuring effective communication and resolution.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key customers, suppliers, and regulatory agencies to ensure alignment on quality requirements and expectations.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in quality management, recommending and implementing innovative solutions to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Prepare and present regular reports on quality performance, including trends, variances, and action plans, to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management roles within the automotive industry, with expertise in PED and ASME regulations.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, standards, and methodologies, including PPAP, APQP, 8D, 5WHY, and FMEA.
- Proven track record of leading successful quality improvement initiatives and driving continuous improvement efforts.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in Q-core tools and software applications related to quality management and data analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making and root cause analysis.
