Sales Business Development

Our client is an global investment management company. Due to continued growth in the BeNeLux region, they are now seeking a Sales and Business Development Associate to join their team on a permanent basis.
Reporting to the Head of Distribution and working closely alongside the Sales team, the Sales and Business Development Associate will take responsibility for the following duties:
- Respond to client inquiries, delivering excellent service and exceeding client expectations
- Partnering with Sales colleagues to provide thorough support during the sales process
- Understand the firm’s core product strategies and investment processes
- Completing Requests For Proposal and other client questionnaires
- Attend client meetings
- Proactively contacting clients (both wholesale and institutional clients)
- Attend investment management industry conferences and events
- Generating a strong sales pipeline by identifying new opportunities
- Tracking all relevant client activities using the CRM system
The Sales and Business Development Associate will meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree (in Finance, Economics, Business Management or a related field) or equivalent
- 1-5 years’ experience in a client service, relationship management, account management or sales role within financial services
- Experience within the investment management sector
- Fluency in Dutch is preferable but not a requirement
- Experience servicing clients in the BeNeLux region is preferable
