What will I be doing?

You are responsible for strategic positioning and sales orientation You recognize potential contacts, customers, markets and their development at an early stageYou are responsible for implementing the sales strategies in line with the budget targets, with a focus on maximizing hotel sales in the assigned markets or market segmentsYou conduct contract negotiationsYou present the hotel at trade fairs, networking events and sales tripsYou are responsible for the organization and implementation of house tours, telemarketing activities, customer events and fam tripsThe position is characterized by intensive cooperation with the national and international sales officesYou are responsible for managing a small sales team (1 direct report)You are responsible for market observation and analysis

Who are we looking for?

Several years of practical, professional sales experience in a similar position, preferably in the hotel industryIt is desirable if you already have previous experience or a customer network in the MICE-segmentYou are able to recognize and set priorities correctly, as well as being structured and goal-oriented in your way of workingYou have strong communication skills, a confident manner and negotiating skills in German and English as well as a sales and revenue-oriented mindsetYou enjoy dealing with customers, guests and our international circle of colleaguesYou are flexible, furthermore the position requires up to 20% willingness to travel (car driver's license an advantage)
