Der World Wide Fund For Nature (WWF) ist eine der größten und erfahrensten Naturschutzorganisationen der Welt und in fast 100 Ländern aktiv. Program Officer Eastern & Southern Afrika (m/w/d)

Steuerung und Umsetzung von Naturschutzprojekten auf internationaler Ebene in der Programmregion, sowie beim WWF Deutschland Sicherstellung der Einhaltung von Gebervorgaben und Richtlinien Steuerung und Überwachung des Projektbudgets Strategische Entwicklung von teilweise neuen Problemlösungen, Bewertung und Analysen zu o.g. Schwerpunkten sowie Entwicklung von Lösungswegen zur Erreichung von Projektzielen Enge Zusammenarbeit mit öffentlichen Geldgebern, Institutionen, Verbänden, etc. Mitarbeit und Unterstützung des Kommunikationsbereichs (Internet, Presse, usw.)

Für diese spezifische Stelle bringen Sie außerdem mit: Abgeschlossenes Hochschulstudium mit engem Bezug zum Aufgabenfeld Mindestens dreijährige Berufserfahrung in einem vergleichbaren Tätigkeitsfeld und Erfahrung mit internationalen Projekten Fundierte Erfahrung im Projektmanagement möglichst in Entwicklungsländern Sehr gute Kenntnisse der englischen Sprache erforderlich, gute Kenntnisse der deutschen Sprache wünschenswert Fundierte Kenntnisse in den Bereichen internationale Kooperation, Vertragsmanagement und Budgetierung Kenntnisse der Entwicklungs- und Naturschutzarbeit in Afrika, insbesondere zu Forest Landscape Restauration und Community Based Natural Ressource Management wünschenswert Kenntnisse in der Einhaltung und Umsetzung von Umwelt- und Sozialstandards, sowie zu Fragen der menschenrechtlichen Sorgfaltspflicht wünschenswert
