AREA SALES MANAGER (m/f/d)

based in Munich / Germany.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

We are looking for an Area Sales Manager (m/f/d) for Germany (South), Austria, Eastern and Northern Europe. The aim is to have someone on the ground who can further penetrate the market, build a report with V.I.C.'s & K.O.L.'s as well as to continue to grow and nurture existing relationships with our wholesale partners in the region. The candidate will have to have a strong commercial personality with a data driven and analytical approach to drive their business. The candidate is passionate, intelligent, customer oriented & has an innate drive for self-improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial ambition

  • Drive wholesale sales and promote the sell-through of our products
  • Manage wholesale partners to achieve target objectives, model stock as well as rotation objectives, deploying the brand's sales policies on site
  • Generate strategies that grow market share and drive growth of the brand across all (sales) channels, monitoring network's performance and reporting KPIs to management and continuously challenging the brand's distribution
  • Create and implement yearly retailer business plans, focusing on commercial performance, POS offline and online activation and training
  • Work closely with the Head of Commercial to build regional budget figures according to product new launches and segmentation specific to the region In collaboration with our wholesale partners and Head of Commercial define, manage and fine-tune on a continuous basis a model stock collectionBrand building
  • Ensure at all times that each POS meets qualitative criteria in visual merchandising, online visibility, training (brand knowledge) and overall brand presence
  • Initiate and assist with, where needed in the organization, sell out driven, customer experience (coop) activities Implementing and guarding the brand's communication guidelines in all activities at all times.

Act as a knowledgeable Jaeger LeCoultre spokesperson, creating longterm partnerships with customers, stimulating brand advocacy

This unique position is ideal for someone who is a self-starter and independent. You will be working in close contact and cross functionally with all members of the JLC team.

WHAT ABOUT YOU?

  • Minimum of 7 years relevant working experience
  • Experience in the luxury watch space highly preferred, luxury industry mandatory
  • Strong analytical and commercial ability
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Autonomous and with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Continuously demonstrating agility and a strong willingness to drive changes
  • Fluent in German and English (C1), Dutch/Nordic language a plus
