THE ROLE

The Cluster Revenue Manager, reporting into the Head of Revenue, is responsible for the development and implementation of revenue management strategies for all Aspire Hotels across Germany. He/she will manage the rooms and function space inventor, build rates, and packages to optimize commercial opportunities and reaching the hotels business targets.

Other key duties and responsibilities:

  • Analysis of market trends, competitive environment, and guest data to ensure optimal pricing.
  • Monitoring and adjusting room rates, availability, and booking conditions across different distribution channels
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and hotel management to achieve revenue targets.
  • Preparation of reports and presentations for performance analysis and recommendations for action.
  • Training and support of the hotel team in the field of revenue management.
  • Develop the annual rooms revenue budget in conjunction with the Cluster General Managers.
  • Achieves market & revenue share by developing strategies to ensure the hotels are on top of their comp set.
  • Maximizes revenue with the revenue optimization tools and systems available to you to market the resorts appropriately and ensure current rate structures and packages are reflected properly both externally and internally.
  • Perform sales channel analysis, to gain insight and suggest ways to improve performance to maximise average daily rate and profit.

Background & Skills:

  • Degree in the hotel industry, business administration or a comparable qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a hotel revenue manager.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Previous experience working with the IDeaS and other revenue management tools and systems.
  • Previous experience with Opera is an advantage.
  • Proficiency of Microsoft office.
  • Multi-property experience is an advantage.
  • Experience of business planning, budgeting and forecasting.
