We are now looking for a Director Business Relationship (m/w/d) - fluent in English and German

Primary purpose

  • Owns the business relationship with high fee contributor hotels maximising full revenue potential evolving partnership, creating added value and compliance, creating benefits for both parties and balancing hotel need in order to drive profitable revenues and market share growth for the individual hotels in the RHG portfolio
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination with other departments of the commercial organisation to ensure that relevant hotel strategy is understood and aligned.
  • Ensures regular exchange with the relevant hotels to gain full strategy understanding and build connections where needed to drive sales
Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supports to define the hotel roadmap for sales processes, organisation, systems and tools to deliver year on year improvements in revenues and improved customer experience (Commercial plans)
  • Communicates the individual hotel needs and strategies towards the different commercial departments within RHG to ensure understanding and drive of relevant business
  • Communicate and support the hotel to execute focused strategies for account development in order to penetrate accounts and communicate to all internal stakeholders, leveraging collaboration and work from analytics team
  • First point of contact for commercial topics for GM ́s and Owner (for the high fee contributer hotels)
  • Ensuring Sales Standards and SOPs to align and streamline sales processes across the organisation, drive adoption and usage of sales tools and systems, and maintain required data input to support effective performance management.
  • Participate in key travel industry trade shows as well as in regular customer forums and participation in industry trade bodies and panels to represent Radisson Hotels in developing trusting and respectful business partnership with ownership groups and individuals
  • Run health checks to ensure RHG Standard delivery for the full customer journey
  • Ensures hotels are included in relevant RHG value propositions and programs
  • Support hotels to deliver of the the sales performance objectives
  • Liaise with global teams to optimize business of individual hotels
  • Ensures alignment when client activities such as Fam Trip, Sales Trips, fairs & shows presentation, site inspections takes place to guarantee the RHG customer journey with one voice relating back to strategic industries, segments & type of business
  • Ensuring all activities are recorded within CRM system regularly under relevant entity
  • Be on top of industry trends, news, competitor activities and update the team accordingly
  • Support on sales team set up and Head of department recruitment
Your Profile

  • At least 3 years of professional experience as senior sales manager or similar function
  • Bachelor's degree required, ideally in Economics, Business or related field.
  • Excellent German and English skills
  • Proven sales and analytical skills in hospitality, retails or similar fast paced environment
  • Able to work within a global and highly matrixed organization
  • Strategical thinking and being able to clarify critical priorities to create business value
  • Influence your stakeholders internally & externally
