As “Head of Product Lifecycle Manager for transformers”, you define with your team the product strategy for transformers in its different product applications with a clear focus on market and customer demands. Based on alignment with Strategy, fales and factories you will define with your team the R&D roadmap and support its execution and share results to all stakeholders. You will lead an enthusiastic team, manage their targets and Priorities and support them whilst they take care of their dedicated portfolio elements. As product owner you will also support activities such as internal product trainings, customer workshops and marketing campaigns. How You’ll Make an Impact Listen to and understand customer, cluster and sales feedback, evaluate product opportunities. Create and maintain business cases to define the most rewarding product developments. Define R&D projects for portfolio optimization. Create Product strategy and define the product development roadmap Support the business areas in creating an optimum product in order to meet the product strategy and targets Assure smooth factory and market introduction of portfolio optimizations Monitor market and perform technical/commercial analyses of competitor products Enable a high-performing culture focusing on learning and continuous improvement, with an engaged and motivated workforce What You Bring Completed university degree in electrical engineering, energy management, mechanical engineering or comparable degree A transmission product background with longstanding professional experience in product management, innovation planning, project management, engineering or technical sales Expert technical know-how and market knowledge in the applicable product range Good understanding of product sales, product innovation cycles, product engineering and manufacturing operations, associated business departments/functions and business processes Entrepreneurial and strategic thinking, decision-making ability Excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal and external senior stakeholders Global attitude with strong intercultural sensitivity and ability to work collaboratively with teams and factories around the world
