Daily Responsibilities
As a key member of the Product Management team, you will oversee the monitoring of power transformers and may also engage with portfolio components related to switchgear oversight throughout the entire product lifecycle.
Your day begins with reviewing incoming requests for Transformer Oversight. While some inquiries can be addressed directly, others will require you to facilitate in-depth analysis with stakeholders and prioritize them within our monitoring portfolio roadmap, focusing on customer value and the growth of Siemens Energy.
Your Contributions
- Develop product strategies and establish product roadmaps informed by customer and sales insights
- Formulate R&D project proposals and assess their financial implications (investment costs, profitability, product launch timelines, and anticipated revenues)
- Draft R&D project requirement specifications and oversee project execution
- Ensure successful market introduction of new or enhanced portfolio components
- Manage product phase-out and succession planning
- Conduct market surveillance and perform technical/commercial evaluations of competitor offerings
- Assist business functions such as global sales, offer, and order management in all matters related to your portfolio components
- Advocate for and support digital initiatives within Siemens Energy
- Participate, as needed, in International Committees for Standardization
Qualifications
- Extensive expertise gained from several years of experience in power transformer monitoring solutions
- Familiarity with the product lifecycle management process
- Proficient in English; knowledge of German is a plus
- Capable of preparing and delivering presentations to both external clients and internal leadership
- Strong self-management skills
- Ability to lead and collaborate within global teams
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strategic decision-making capabilities
