**What part will you play?**
The Head of Product Management serves as a technology leader and trend setter within the business and broader electrical industry and would be ideal for an experienced product management leader in the electrical industry, or for an individual with an engineering, business marketing or sales background that has a strong technical aptitude and experience in managing B2B product portfolios.
This position is a key leader on the EP EMS leadership team and reports directly to the Head of Segment Electrical Products Europe, Middle East, and South America (SI EP EMS). Key direct reports include Head of Portfoliomanagement and Technology, Head of Product Management for Control Devices, Head of Product Management for Power Distribution, Head of Product Management for Software and Head of Productmanagement for Processes&Standards.
Cross-functional collaboration and executive relationship management will be keys to success. This business leader also works as a peer to:
- Head of R&D EMS to plan and prioritize overall R&D roadmap and execute on agreed projects
- EP EMS Manufacturing Head to plan and manage the factory operations in Germany, Czech Republic, Turkey, Romania and Greece
- Head of Sales and Marketing for planning and executing market facing messaging.
- Head of Strategy for overall strategic planning partnerships and evaluation of in-organic growth opportunities (M&A and investments).
- Heads of EP Product Management of EP’s regional segments North America (NA), India Asean Africa (IAA) and China East Asia (CEA)

**What you need to make real what matters.**
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or engineering management with an electrical/mechanical focus and a minimum of 10 years professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience in product management, marketing, sales, logistics or R&D, preferably with electrical or electromechanical products.
- Experience leading a multi-level team of people with a wide range of tenure / experience, preferably in a technical function.
- Proven experience in product lifecycle management (PLM) or general project management. Furthermore, knowledge and experience with electrical distribution products and/or IoT Software would be a plus.
- Excellent communication skills supported by strong data analysis, problem solving and presentation skills.
- Ability to multi-task and manage diverse product management employees and activities per a schedule.
- Demonstrated understanding of financial reporting and data-driven decision making, particularly in relation to business case evaluation, investment decision making, forecasting, and pricing.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally.
