SUMMARY


We are seeking an experienced and impactful Automotive Segment Business Development Manager to join Allegro’s Global Automotive Business Development team in Germany. This exciting opportunity requires:

Deep knowledge of the automotive industry and related e-mobility applications

Strong business acumen to identify market leaders and key influencers

Solid technical background in automotive systems and ability to weigh architectural trade-offs at sub-system level

Leadership in building business case/value proposition for the best customer solution working with our regional sales and internal product teams

RESPONSIBILITIES


You will be responsible for accelerating Allegro’s revenue in the e-mobility segments xEV powertrain and ADAS in Europe by establishing and driving effective GtM strategies to maximize the market potential. You will be viewed as Allegro’s e-mobility trusted adviser and internal market expert in EMEA - including serving as a systems architect’s trusted advisor, aligning product roadmaps with market needs, building business cases to justify future Allegro investments, formulating value proposition/narratives, and holding Allegro teams accountable to our commitments.


Key Areas of Responsibility

Accelerate Allegro’s pipeline development and DesignWin achievement in electric vehicles and ADAS applications.

Understand, tailor, and communicate Allegro’s technical and business value propositions to key automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.

Develop and drive effective regional and global GtM segment strategies to accelerate Allegro market share growth in e-mobility applications.

Partner with regional sales accounts team to explore and maintain the interface and relationship nurturing with the key automotive partners/Influencers.

Serve as a technical advisor to our e-mobility customers to help shape Allegro's future roadmaps and value propositions to meet the market needs.

Collaborate with Allegro’s internal business lines and engineering leadership to define business cases/solutions that will intersect market needs in the timeframe required.

Build a strong network of relevant stakeholders at key customers and OEMs established based on critical insights, real-time/quality support, and solution value.

Hold yourself and team members accountable to our commitments to ensure successful engagements.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to operate as part of a global business development team.

Ability to support the local and WW sales teams as needed.

Self-starter who is capable of navigating ambiguity and uncertainty to drive clear outcomes.

Aggressive with “make it happen” mentality.

Results driven and able to influence internal as well as external teams.

Experienced in building underpinned business cases to justify critical R&D investments.

Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken (experience in dealing with diverse customers, cultures, and functions). Willing to travel 30-50% of the time.

Solid experience in the automotive industry is required.

Good network in xEV powertrain and ADAS steering and braking applications is a benefit.

A strong sense of the commercial, business and customer engagement issues associated with these market segments is important.

Proven ability to interface with senior executive level at customers, as well as within Allegro, including the ability to develop and deliver informative and technical & business presentations to senior executive level audiences.

Ability to engage and understand the internal Allegro BU’s strategic plans and operate in collaborative fashion to help execute these – in particular, the aspects that require successful engagement with partners/customers.

Fluent in German and English (oral and written).
